Cake Mistakes

:1053: The Typo Police is having a field day w/ this one!



A group of people at work had a going away party for a woman that is leaving. One of the supervisors called a Walmart and ordered the cake. The conversation might have gone something like this:

Walmart Employee: "Hello 'dis Walmarts, how can I help you?"

Customer: " I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week."

Walmart Employee: "What you want on the cake?"

Customer: "Best Wishes Suzanne" and underneath that "We will miss you".

That's my big laugh for the day! Thanks, Carol!

LOL Carol!! This is really funny!! I looked at the cake picture before read your comment. I kept saying..........under neat that..........huh???

*LOL* Lily, I was doing the same thing, wondering what "Under Neat That", was actually supposed to mean. Then I scrolled down and read the rest of what Carol posted, then figured it out. If only I had done that first, I'd have saved myself a headache!!

That's pretty bad! I've heard of things getting mixed up, but not quite that badly! lol

I forgot to mention from my first post..........shows how swift I was.......... After reading Carol's comment that said: "The typo police is having a field day..." I kept looking at the words and said to myself: "I don't see any typos?!" :Hahaha:

A family ordered a golf-themed birthday cake from a bakery and asked them to "write 50th in the flag." Here's what they got.

Must be the same people that did this one.....They were told to write, "Best Wishes Suzanne" underneath that, "We will miss you" Yep, that's what they got!!!!

I'm still cracking up over that! I'm glad you shared it with the board! Got the name and number of the bakery? Next time we need a cake and a good laugh we'll have to patronize their store!

Edited to add: Rhonda! I was trying to think of that one when Rob showed me the picture earlier - but I just couldn't remember what the "underneat" part was!
