Phones Call

Are you ever Misticken for some one else when some one calls? All the Time For my Mom or Sisters Like today My Moms Cousin call from Mexico i think anyways he seuriouly thought i was My Mom But Wait till you hear this My Brother and His wife were at a Auto body shop and the Guy had ask my Brother if that was his Daugther and My Brothers wife is Older then my Brother and My Brother is Only 21 years old

My great aunt always calls me my mom's name, but then again, she's 91 years old.

One of my neighbors always calls me Jenny, I had told her many times in the past that I'm not Jenny, I'm Lily. She would apologize and calls me Jenny again the next time. So I gave up, I answer to Jenny when she calls me now. :Hahaha:

My Mom, brothers and sisters can't tell my Pop or me apart on the phone. Heck, sometimes they can't tell us apart in person.

At the store, there's a clerk who always calls me Julia. (??) I have no idea why. And at the retirement home where I play the piano occasionally, there's a man who, every time he sees me, lights up and says "Oh!! Amanda.........you've come back!". Jacob, when my Grandma would call us on the phone, when I was a young girl........she would always mix up me and my brother - til he was about 15 or so!

Shirley, my neighbor was recently remarried, her new husband calls me Jenny too now...and he really means it.

You're right Jacob...I also use Ruby at PT. Matt calls me Gracie over at PT, so with so many names, I'm beginning to feel like an imposter. :Hahaha:

This only happens occasionally now (I'm 41), but sometimes when I answer the phone they will ask if my mom or dad is there. I can always answer honestly "No." What a great way to get rid of a telemarketer.

I answered the phone the other day and was mistaken for my 9-yr. old son, Shiloh!

I'm the one who gets the persons name wrong all the time. I was at my dads one time, Jim calls and leaves a message for me to call home. I was in the room when he called. I didn't even know it was him. Boy did I feel stupid.:sad5:

Jacob that is funny! my dad sometimes calls me my moms name!

My friend one time called me and she was sick w/ a cold... my co-worker at the time was ALSO sick with a cold so they both sounded the same to me!
So my friend calls me and I think it's my co-worker so she goes along with it, here I am talking to her about work stuff and things my co-worker and me know and after about 6 minutes she starts laughing and tells me who she really is! :haha:
