| That's a shame. Really enjoyed him on Newhart. That show didn't get good until they brought in Michael (Peter), Stephanie, and Larry & the Darryls. | |

| Ha! I never thought of that, but Michael did have a lot of the Howell mannerisms! Well, I remember Michael once saying that he'd seen every episode of every sitcom ever made ("except for the one Brady Bunch where Mike bought the kids a pool table"), so maybe Mr. Howell had a direct influence.  | |
