New Little House DVDs being released in April 2007

Okay, so it looks like Lionsgate bought the rights from Imavision to distribute the LHOTP DVDs. They will start to go on sale next month.

"Little House on the Prairie" returns to DVD

What do you guys think about this?
I wonder if these DVDs will have some of the missing scenes that Imavision had...

well I just got my LHotP DVD with the 3 specials on it (When Albert gets sick, Rose gets lost, etc). I can NOT wait to watch it!!! I love all of those episodes.

Dean posted at the Diva site tonight, but he didn't give us any additional info on the bonus features. All he mentioned was that US distribution would be much better now.

If he gives us any other information about them, I'll let you know.

Dean passed on this bit of information abut the bonus features. He didn't say what they would be though.
The content of past and upcoming DVDs will still be controlled by Imavision.

Woo-hoo! Looks like I'll be spending more money. My poor husband. LOL!

Well, my set is complete. I am not going to buy them all over again. I just wish that before they release stuff like this, that they would do it right from the get-go.

The Imavision ones cut off abruptly on some of the scenes, etc., and they interviewed the same cast members too. Only time we saw Karen Grassle interviewed was with the season 9 release.

She should have been one of the FIRST ones interviewed.

Glad I am not the only one not going to buy them again.

The only thing that makes me feel like purchasing them are the interviews. They must be very interesting, indeed. :think:

Well, with the Imavision release, they interviewed the same people a few times, so to me, that was a real let down.
