| (Why I am putting this in the teen section, I do not know, I 'spose it is because I'm a teen and this is serious.)
Many of you here who have known me long and well have known I've been kinda unstable. Until recently this has changed thanks to God and the breakthrough He gave me. (Long story.) Any way, I've kinda jumped from one thing to another when it comes to what I want to do in life as and for a career. First it was acting, dancing, then broadway, then a writer, then most recently, modeling which deep down I don't believe is me. I just though it'd be fun to do. But I deep down really don't want to do all those things. I asked God a few days ago that whatever in the world I am supposed to do, please show me. I'm not getting any younger and I would like to aim for some goals. Well, I felt like I got my answer. The funny thing is that it was kind of always there. From the very start, practically as soon as I could talk, I formed a deep passion for horses and to work with them. When I turned 11, many things happened in my life where I changed things and forgot that. But I still loved horses whenever I came into contact with them. I became real close to one named Jose. She was a darling. May have not won a beauty award, but was so sweet. When I was 14 I took horseback riding lessons on a Gypsy Vanner named Lance. I had to stop though because my trainer turned out to be very abusive to Lance and me. I couldn't take that. Since then I haven't ridden. But in the last few days my passion has returned, stronger than before even. I really want to work with horses and become good enough to even be in rodeos, do barrel racing, western horse shows, etc. I am strictly western. I find english saddles uncomfortable. My family believes this is more the thing for me to be pursing. It's more me they say than modeling, pageants, and acting. I feel better with it too. Happier. Honestly, what do you really get out of fame. I wasn't the person who WANTED fame, just the acting/modeling..but still. I've always had a tendency to be rugged you might say...A girly tomboy. One who wears the cowboy boots with the dress. I really favor Tennessee Walking Horses and American Quarter Horses. I really want to find a place to ride. The lady who was going to let me has not contacted me. I am not sure what happened there, but Sunday we all are going to this place called "Lucky W Ranch". The owners knew my Mom before she was even married and helped her buy her second saddle I believe it was. They are strong Christians and own their own store on their property. They sell horses as well. I am hoping some way that that will be an opening. Now, I have not dropped my desire to design clothes, but that is a secondary desire you might say. | Well, here is the scoop. We would have to board a horse if we bought one because we don't have enough land. (In our county you have to have AT LEAST 5 acres.) So... We for sure do not have enough money for that right now at all. As for Jordan's neighbor's, we talked awhile and it turns out it is his friend. He said I could just call her and ask anything I needed to. Now my folks didn't want me to do that and find out all I needed to from Jordan. Before you ride someone else's horse you kind of want to know a little bit about them in my opinion. So my Mom had me prepare and send a text to him with the questions and in it I said that my folks do not want me to call the girl. He text back that I should just call her and find out. Well. We got into a bit of a spat. It all boils down to whether I obey my parents or else. I was not about to go against my parents, so I left it alone. We know these people who own this place called "Lucky W Ranch". Long time friends of my Mom's before she was married even. I am hoping that will be a door there for me. It can be so frustrating when there is something you really want to do with all your might and you don't have funds or a place to go for it! I believe it will too. I am blessed to have a mother who is a very experianced horsewoman herself and can really help and teach me/give me pointers. Also, I have a lot of tack already (including a saddle) so I wouldn't have to buy much whenever I do get a horse.
