I love this episode. It's my favorite one from season 3. Mrs.Oleson getting butted and landing in mud was funny. Mary laughed thinking about Laura naming her goat "Friendly Fred" and Charles says "Friendly Fred", I've seen more friendsahip when I've poked holes in a hornest's nest and didn't see anything funny about Fred. laugh3

I watched Fred today. I liked seeing the missing scenes. Poor Charles getting butted by Fred, then cheated by Mr.Jenks. Needless to say, Charles was in a bad mood most of the episode.

And.....don't forget the funny music they used for this episode. That goes along ways in priming you
to realize that what you are about to see is going to be funny. I enjoyed this episode too !

This one is kind of repetitive, but somewhat funny. I did think it a bit insensitive of Laura to name the goat "Fred" since some people called her baby brother who died "Freddy" and since his middle name was Frederick. Anyway, I'm glad Fred didn't get killed and got to go live with the nanny goats - but didn't those goats belong to someone? Also, Laura got her dress caught on the playground equipment similar to how she got it caught on the stairs in THE MONSTER OF WALNUT GROVE. Now I wonder how many other times her dress gets caught on things!

This is hysterical episode. Make you laugh out loud. No matter how many times, I see this episode. Laura tricking Willie that Billy goats makes goat cheese. Then Fred gets drunk. At least at the end of the episode, Fred find his true family.
