Ever been chosen for jury duty? I have been summons a few times now but never had to serve on a trial at all. Also, I have been excused from serving a number of times as well.

Yes, multiple times and I have to go again next May. UGH! Makes one want to commit a few crimes so you don't get chosen so often.

I had been called only once for a criminal case. I always wonder why some people get called more than the others?!

I dunno about the city, but for me, it's most likely cuz we don't have very many jury trials.

Yes, lots of times. Drunk driving, robbery, assault, burglary, arson... but in spite of my criminal record, they called me for jury duty anyway. :sillySmiley:

Could it have anything to do with the squirrels and nuts in your life? Maybe they don't think you are sane enough to serve.....:haha:

You are all nuts! LOL! Nope, never even received a notice to go! Maybe they know something about me that I don't know is why I've never been asked...

PostSubject: Re: Jury Duty   Fri Jun 20, 2008 5:52 pm

So, I got a summons about a month ago to go to jury duty this Monday, for the first time ever. I'm nervous! Mainly b/c it's something I've never done before and don't know what to expect, I'll be missing a day's work, and with my luck, will get stuck there for multiple days, LOL. So needless to say, I'm not exactly happy about this situation. No
