I thought that they had said something about the final gold star or stars being worth more than the previous one. Maybe at the end they are going to award a million dollar star to someone?

I am really going to miss watching this show. I may not miss all of the kids, Taylor for one, but I hope that maybe there will be another group of kids somewhere else next year. This was really a good show.

There are going to be gold stars worth more that $20,000!!! Not a million though. But pretty darn good for a kid!!

Well, I enjoyed it! I'm glad that Sophia won an additional star, along with Zach, who I've been rooting for. It was so touching, he couldn't hardly talk because he was so emotional.
I just wish that they would have awarded the stars to kids that hadn't already gotten them. I'm also sad that Mike didn't get one. He definitely deserved one!
I thought it was so great when that one parent asked Greg how old he was. When Greg told him, the man responded about how he knew adults that didn't speak that well. I think overall, the parents were impressed with how their kids did (that one scene with the mother in the outhouse and the girl rolling her eyes and saying (city slicker) or something like that was hilarious.
I definitely think after this, there will be another season...
Next up?? Survivor and the Sunday season finale...

Yes, it was great! I was happy for Zach as well... I was happy for Sophia too.. I kind of hoped Mike would have gotten one.

I started crying when the kids got to see their parents again.... it was sooo sweet! This is an experience they will never forget and for some of the kids... I think the show will change their lives...

I think there will be another season... the show was great!

It was a great show. I loved it. I wonder what all the controversy was about when the show was being filmed. The kids did a great job on their own. The weren't in any danger and it was a great experience for all of them.
Can't wait for next season.

I was so happy my little buddy Zach got his star. I of course cried. I wish he would have gotten the $50,000 one. I wish they were given to different kids. I don't think Migle should have got one. It should have been Anjay and Mike, and Zach. And I cried when their parents came running toward them. What a great scene! These kids are little celebs now. I was surprised that that one father said that about Greg. If only he knew how he really was.

Someone complained because that one black girl burned her face with grease. She didn't really seems to care. Naturally someone has to say something negative about everything.

When you guys talk about Mike, do you mean the one who was on the Council at the end, or the one with the glasses who got voted off earlier on?

That's for sure, Beckie. The TV critic of the Detroit Free Press, Mike Duffy, just listed his five best and five worst shows of 2007. He had Kid Nation as one of the worst.

Mike was on the council at the beginning, wears the glasses. Michael was on the council at the end and has the longer hair.

Yeah, I don't listen to the critics. That's one of the things they told us in theatre. There have been a lot of bad critiques on things that were actually good.

I mean the Mike with the glasses. I would not have minded if the council Michael or Laurel wold have won.

I didn't think about the fact that there were two Mikes. I was talking about the one that used to be on the council early on, the one with the glasses.

I was watching an old VH1 Classic show and Leif Garret came on.
Is it me, or did anyone else think that Michael looked a lot like a young Leig Garret?
