We are in a heatwave.....came later in the day on Monday.  The humidity came with it and I finally broke down and turned the air on, just to keep the icky sticky down.  In the past TWO DAYS, the power has gone out!  COME ON electric company....what are you going to do when summer *really* gets here and everybody is running the a/c?  I hope they get it straightened out.  No  I hate resetting clocks over and over and over again...... banghead

Love  That's my kind of weather! Last year it was sweltering allllllllllllll summer lonnnnnnnnnnng. Over 100 for weeks in a row...it was just awful. So I'm REALLY enjoying this milder summer. *happy sigh*

Jacob, I hope things warm up enough for your garden to grow, though! What all have you planted?

Wow, Jacob! It sounds like you have a wonderful garden! I do have a small one, but with having spent 5 weeks at the hospital and hour away with my Mom, the garden is pretty poor-looking. But I don't care! MOM is looking great, and that's much better. yes If you get a chance, and don't mind, I would love to see a picture of your garden!

Being way down here in Texas we don't usually see much fall color til late December, but this week all of our trees have just been beautiful. Don't get me wrong we aren't getting the colors that Arkansas and northern states get but its a lot for here.
We are in the 70's today but rain is coming which will knock down all those nice colors...: ( then our high Saturday is high 40's. That is cold for us because we don't normally see temps this low til January.
Squirrels are in a hurry, and birds are just not chirping as much. I think they know something.
I found a coat on sale and I am going to get it. I may not use it here but if we move back to Arkansas in the next few years I know I will there. We haven't used more than a hoodie in the 13 years we've been in Texas!!

Stay warm folks. Make sure there is enough wood, don't need to hear you all started twisting hay!
