What brands of high definitions TVs do you guys have? So far we have not had much luck with ours. We first got a Polaroid which had a really great picture but the tuner went bad. We returned that and got a RCA. We had trouble with it occasionally scrambling the picture on one channel. When we called about it, they said something was wrong, and if we sent it to them they would send us another one in 7-10 days. We did that, and a month and a half later, another TV arrives in a box that looked like it had been thrown around a bit. The box was twice as big as the TV, and it only had 3 tiny air pillows in the box for protection. My husband called the company about that right away saying he wasn't going to accept this TV since there was no way it got here in that packaging with no damage. After they insisted that he should at least take it out of the box to see if it worked, he noticed that the back was cracked so it was immediately sent back. Another month and a half goes by before we get the replacement. This one came in the appropriate packaging and was working fine until last week. I went to turn it off, and the screen continued to glow. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and now it does not work at all. I think this TV only lasted for about 6 weeks. I'd really appreciate any feedback you guys could give me on the brand of TV you have and how you like them. We would like to get our money back from RCA and get a different brand, but I don't know if they will do that.

Lori, I have a Sharp Aquos 40" HDTV with LCD screen, and I love it. It was recommended by two of my coworkers who have the same model. I bought it at the local Circuit City. Wow, sounds like quite a mess you've had to work through! Once you get a good HDTV, I think you'll like it. Good luck.
