I was at a Dollar Store earlier (I think we have five of them within an easy drive's distance) and I was looking for some little toys for the kitten. Well, on the way to that aisle, I walked by a display and just couldn't help but laugh. There was a bin of those Croc-type shoes, which have ventilating holes in them. . . . . and above the bin, in huge letters was:

FIVE DOLLARS!!! HOLY SHOES!!!

Who knew that you could find such a thing at a Dollar Store. Now, holey shoes, I could believe. LOL!! I'm a nut when it comes to words and spelling, anyway, and always get a bit of a laugh when the stores or the news will misspell a relatively simple word. And, in this case . . . . leaving out that one letter sure changes the definition! :Hahaha:

Now Savannah......you don't know where they were manufactured....there might be a little church somewhere over in the Holy Land with a little workshop in the back....kind of like the Elves and the Shoemaker....but called "The Holy Priest and his Holy Shoemakers". :Hahaha:

Oh man, I would have gotten a pair and said "For five dollars... this is the greatest bargain I have found.... "Holy" shoes usually cost a lot more. ROTFL

Maybe as it gets closer to the holidays, they will change the sign to "Holly Shoes".....
