Friends are such a blessing

I am so glad that God gives us friends. Love

I spent the morning wrapping Christmas presents for the children, which had me on the verge of tears the whole time. But I was determined NOT to cry. I'm determined to not let Christmas be ruined. This was always our favorite time of the year, full of beautiful memories, and I don't want it to turn into a bitter time of the year. Anyway.........I had finished wrapping what I could for now, and decided to go check for mail....And......a friend had sent me a package that arrived today: Chocolate! (My friends know me well, don't they! batEyes

) That friend had no idea that the package would arrive when I was feeling a little down, and that it would bring so much cheer to me. I believe that God knew that we would need friends to help us now and again.......and I'm so thankful for friends.

And my friends here are some of the dearest people in the world! Thank you for being such wonderful friends - especially through everything that has been going on this year. You all have been - and continue to be - an amazing blessing to me.

Savannah, it is when you are the lowest that your true friends lift you up the highest. Please know that you are counted as one that has lifted me up in my lowest time.......As for the rest of my dear friends on this forum, I thank you for everything you have done for me through this past year.......Hugs all around!

Of course, friends ARE a blessing! I experienced this great true every day with my friends from Argentina, but also here and STRONGLY. You are also my friends , people. And I wouldn't know what to do without all of you, you know! You are such a blessing. Love

And my friends from my country are wonderful too, Savannah: today, one of them sent me two bottles of the better champagne there is! And I was complaining for champagne was so expensive and we must to spent Christmas without a good toast! Friends are the better we could have in the world.Friends are sent by God, truly! :woohooo: Thumbsup

That is wonderful that you received your gift from your friend, just when you especially needed something to help pick up your spirits.

I know there have been many times that, if it weren't for friends, that I don't know how I would have gotten through some tough times in my life.

I appreciate my friends here so much as well. All of you are so supportive through good and bad times. I can't tell you how much that means to me.

That is a wonderful feeling when a friend knows we need that extra 'boost'. Thank GOD for them! Actually it took me 35 years to find my true 'bosom friend', and I am thankful that God finally sent her to me. She feels the same way. So those of you who are lacking true great friends, have faith that you will find that special someone someday. I have been married for almost 18 years, and my amazing husband is most definitely my best friend, but we all need that special girlfriend. With all the hardship you've been through this past year, Savannah, I am so glad for you that you have this special person(s) in your life. I also admire your strength and determination this Christmas too, Savannah...you are quite the inspiration. Thumbsup

I have come to find that my best friends that I have met, are not friends I have met in person, but they are my online friends. We talk on the phone, remember each other's birthday's and I got Christmas cards from all of them. (Didn't get a card yet from people I know in "real" life!)

My friends are the best.

I have many dear friends who would do more for me than my family ever would and I thank God for them every day. I've known my best frienf for 29 years and there's things she knows about me that NO-ONEdoes.
