We had taken our regular family camping trip to Glamis, California. Glamis is near the border of Mexico and is the best sand dunes you can think of to drive dune buggies in.....A friend of my uncles came down towing his kit helicopter on a trailer, got to the campgrounds and proceded to put the blades and tail on. Afterwards, he gave us kids a ride in it......we flew low around the dunes and even tried to keep up with some of the desert lizards. It was amazing and fun.......:idance:

I've seen several ultralight airplanes built from kits, but I don't think I've ever seen a chopper.

(Rhonda, that sounds so cool! I've wanted to fly in an ultralight ever since I first saw one.)

Only once. I live in a small town, so we don't have many buildings that are over two stories tall. But we had gone on a trip, and my Mom has a terrible phobia about elevators...so we took the stairs. Good exercise! :Hahaha:
