This is another thing I could've added to my list of bad habits in that thread - I do chew gum pretty regularly at work. It is a bad habit and I know it's not good for my teeth, afterwards they even are sore sometimes. I think I should quit work so I don't chew it anymore...

Not often. My favorite is Orbit spearmint, and I do, on occasion, buy that. My kids usually chew at least half the pack themselves though.

I do some, but I'm not supposed to because of my braces. :o( I chew suger-free sometimes, but not alot. My dad's sister (he wasn't born when this happened) choked to death and died on a piece of gum when she was 6 or 7, so we don't chew it alot in our family.

I don't chew gum. I get sore jaws if I do. I had my wisdom teeth out years ago and the dr told me to chew gum to keep the jaws from getting stiff so I had to.
If I do get the urge to chew, it only lasts for about 20 minutes. By then, the taste is gone and the jaws are tired, lol.

LOL Marilyn. Same here... my jaws get too tired now...
I used to chew a lot! And I got the filled cavities and crowns to prove it.... lol
I used to like BubbleYum, Bubblelicious, and just all sorts of gum inventions... grinsmiley

One time as a dare, I had in my mouth a whole pack of those Baseball Big Chew packets... man, was my mouth sore!

Now if I do chew gum (rarely) I do it for about 5 minutes ... tops... lol

Nope. I was always worried that I'd chew my gum in tempo with the music I was playing on the piano. grinsmiley

I absolutely hate gum...I haven't had any in the last ten years, I think.
Unlike Savannah, when I was eight...I actually had this weird phase where I would like to chew gum to the tempo while playing the piano...

I don't chew gum. I can't stand it when people popping gum in their mouth.....I don't mean blowing bubbles.....but just popping clicking sound.....ughhhhh!!! banghead

Only time to time. I don't really likes it. My mother chew strong mint gum almost every day, LOL...I only chew gum when I find some new flavor of it. But I'd rather like candies. BY FAR!!! grinsmiley

I must say I really hate gum! When I was young I sometimes chewed Sportlife (I believe the brand is unknown in the USA) but since 10 years I don't chew it and hate it also...

No; I don't chew gum for having a good breath...But I love "Sen-Sen" for having a fresh breath. Do you know "Sen-Sen"?....It's kind of liquorice with a touch of strong mint flavor...It's not so easy to have "Sen-Sen" now. It's kinda an oldie candy. But some goods candy.shops have it. Try it! It's a good breath refresher! batEyes

Sometimes but not too often. And I absolutely HATE seeing children chewing gum. I refuse to give it to my kids and they're 15 and 12! It's such a horrible sight.

Yeah, Maureen. I hate this sight too. Here we have a cartoon designer named Grondona White who always said that teens chewing gum seemed as they were some kind of cow eating their grass for him... grinsmiley

LOL Vanesa, we refer to this phrase too. When we see someone chewing gum with mouth open that looks like a cow chewing. ROTFL
