Go on Jacob! You are a superman! I'm glad you are able to stop at Walnut Grove and see by your own eyes, one of Laura's homesites. I was a little girl the first time I heard the words "Walnut Grove"...and it seems a dreem for me that this site really exist and a person I know could visit it.

Good luck! Cheer happy1 Thumbsup

Vanesa.

Hey, that's great Jacob!

You're driving to Mexico? That ought to be a fun trip. Maybe you'll get to see the Grand Canyon along the way.

That is great, Jacob! Please fill us in when you get back on all you did and saw and we want pics! grinsmiley Makes me ashamed I've never been there and I'm closer to Laura's place than you are. I'm so jealous! grinsmiley I'm not too far away and we had plans a few years ago to go and meet Rhonda there, but they fell thru. Maybe one of these days we can plan a trip there.

I'm pretty sure the Grand Canyon is in Arizona. I hope you enjoy
your visit to Walnut Grove. Take some pictures to share. Thanks.

The Grand Canyon is in Arizona. Whether you could see it depends on what route you take.

Whenever we'd go on a trip, if there was ANYTHING educational or historic within a fifty mile or so radius from where we were.......Mom had us there. LOL! If you're even reasonably close to the Grand Canyon, I sure hope you all get to go see it!

They have a Skywalk now, where you walk out over it in a glass breezeway. I've heard it's pretty cool. Even the floor is glass.

The world's biggest ball of string is on the way too, I think.

Jacob,
That will be so much fun for you and your family to travel to Walnut Grove. My family and I live about 2 hours East of there. Unfortunately I haven't been there yet, but hope to go there someday. Every year in July, they have the Laura Ingalls Wilder Days, and there's alot to see and do. They even put on a pageant. My daughter would enjoy it. She's only 4 1/2, but knows almost all of the characters and already has some favorite episodes.
