"Back" to work

Earlier today, my nephew Michael was just about to come downstairs. (We have a flight of 18 steps) We've given him instructions to either sit down and "bump" down, or have someone with him because of his multiple seizures. But, being seven, he doesn't always remember. I came into the hall just as I saw Michael at the top of the stairs. I was going up to walk him down when he started having a seizure, and started to fall. So, I ran up the stairs, and caught him just as he started falling. It wrenched my back sideways, and it took all of my strength to get him off the stairway. Well, thankfully, Michael is fine - but I can barely move now. I don't know what I did to my back when all of that took place, but I'm in some serious pain. I took Tylenol, but it isn't helping. I look like the proverbial "little old lady" lol Hunched over, barely able to take a step. I have to work tonight, so if you could spare a prayer, I'd appreciate it. Cool

OH SAVANNAH!!!! I did that a week ago, couldn't hardly move. Best thing is a hot bath and soaking........Prayers for you AND Michael....

I'm glad that Michael is just fine. How scary. I hope your back feels better soon. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers.

Savannah, I'm so sorry you got hurt :( Please try to get some rest today and take it easy before work. My prayers will be with you. Maybe trying a cream like Bengay or Icy Hot would help? I know I use that on my shoulders sometimes after a day of being in the stockroom at work and it usually helps a little. I hope you are feeling better soon. ::Hugs::

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hope you feel better. I have a chronic back problem and see a chiropractor 3x a week. I know what you are feeling and I am praying for you buddy.
