| Hello all,
It's been a busy Good Friday so far. Off to the mall to get spring shoes and haircuts for the girls and then back home for the neighborhood egg hunt. Does your school district take Good Friday off? And if so, does it bother you that they push the separation of church and state so much, but still lay claim to Good Friday as a day off? I think it's a bit hypocritical.

| To me, personally, one should not get off unless they are a Christian, who celebrates Good Friday and Easter. And they should respond with going to church for services, etc. It is a Christian observance. |

| Hey Cheryl, we can't go to the mall here today, stores are closed for the holiday. In Canada, all stores are closed on national holidays. The mall will be open tomorrow and closed again on Sunday. However, there are districts in Toronto (tourist areas I think but can't remember exactly) who are allowed to have stores open. One large mall is The Eaton's Centre which falls in this district. Those die-hard shoppers have to go into the big smoke to get their shopping fix. | |

| I was thinking about that too, Cheryl. But around here, most public schools were open today. My younger son goes to Catholic school, so he had it off.  “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| We wnet to church this morning. I was afraid tht I woudn't be able to go but I made it. Our church didn't have a service so I went to a church where my co-worker goes. She didn't recognise me without my uniform on, lol.
After church we went out for soup (I'm getting tired of the stuff already!) and then came home and rested. God is good and I am soo grateful for the meaning of this day and what it represents. God bless everyone.
It's Friday...but Sunday's coming!!! Happy Easter. | |

| I Went to Church and then we stay home all day well my mom and dad went to the neighbors in the eaving but we never watch TV or Listin to the Radio or Turn on the computer on Good Friday and we don't go to Resturants | |
