You should be alert during the next few days. Do not open any message with an attachment entitled 'POSTCARD,' regardless of who sent it to you. It is a virus which opens A POSTCARD IMAGE, which 'burns' the whole hard Disc C of your computer. This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list. This is the reason why you need to send this e-mail to all your contacts. It is better to receive This message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.

If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD,' even though sent to you by a friend or family member, do not open it! Shut down your computer immediately.

This is the worst virus announced by CNN. It has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus.
This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.

I guess it's always best to just play it safe and verify with the person that they did indeed send you some type of ecard greeting.

Good rule of thumb; Only open mail from people you know. Just like your mailbox at home, most everything else is probably junk mail anyway.

And contrary to popular belief, with today's internet, it would be awfully hard to send an email message under someone else's ID if you're a virus spreader unless that hacker has something against you personally, which I doubt would be the case with a young lady like yourself.

Maybe it is. In all cases, I do not open any mail with any souspicious title. MOst of these are in English, and sometimes I laugh a great deal when I receive one of these, since they send me a message with a friend adress...almost always in English! And they uses friend's adress who speaks only Spainsh or French. Quite funny!

Oh, Carol. I've a question for you: people always said that when you receives this kind of messages, you must "shut up your computer immediately"...Oh, well. And, what must I do, then? What must I do with this message? Save it forever without opening it? Discard it? MOst of times, I discard them and I have no trouble in my PC.

Yet another virus to worry about.....it has been confirmed by snopes.com. Please be aware of any emails that come to you pertaining to UPS being unable to deliver a package to you......
