I just registered with a casting agency

A few years ago I met a girl in college that worked as an intern at a local casting agency (Nancy Mosser Casting). She gave them a picture of me and they called me to audition for a commercial. Unfortunately I couldn't go because I could not get off work.

When I was in high school I was an extra in a made for tv movie about the Temptitions. Nancy Mosser was the same agency that worked with the extras for this film. Right now they are filming another movie here and as we speak. They are filming at my friend's house right at this very moment! I was going to go over there, but she is not even allowed to be there while they are filming. No pics no nothing. Talk about a real bummer.

Anyway, today I just registed with them again. I hope to hear from them. If not, at least I tried. Keep your fingers crossed!

Anyway, the scene I was in is on youtube! :woohooo: It's at about 3 min34 sec on the vid. It was filmed in the school on my street! I think I may have spotted myself, but the picture is blurry. And at the very end of the movie they recorded some of our voices screaming like we were in a crowd! The man with the glasses is the actor Leon. He was in the movie Cool Runnings!

My account has just been approved by the casting agency! I will have to call them and get the scoop on all I need to do. A friend that I work with has been doing extra work with them for years. I think they even do voice over which is my true passion! I am going to call them and let them know that is what I am really interested in and hopefully they can help me do what I need. :woohooo:

Actually Matt is the one who inspired me! He inspires me to be a better person too because I always hear what a sweet man he is and he did so many great things for those less fortunate.

Ok, they don't do voice over there unless you have an agent. So I looked at another casting place and they have a voice over class. I registered for that. It starts May 24 and it's a 15 week course. It was expensive, but well worth it! ;D They also have acting for the camera classes. Once I am done with this, I might sign up or one of those. Nancy Mosser casting however told me that next week if I am available I can be an extra! I have to look at my work schedule first. If not, there will be other opportunities. I just have to call them and ask them when they might need me.

Ok, more news. I just called Nancy Mosser and I am going to be an extra next Saturday down town. She marked me down as a pedestian, lol. That is so awesome! It's going to be late and it might last until 5 am! Lol. But that's the life of an actress, lol. They will email me with more details!

Wow, that's a long day!

Yeah, I'll say. It was a lot of fun. I went when it was still dark out, then It was light out, lol. All us girls had to wear curlers in out hair for when we did hair and makeup, lol.
