Have you noticed that:

1. Generally speaking, a man who starts a sentence with "I am a patient man". . . . is NOT a patient man.
2. You should NEVER lean over to pick something up when you're gargling with Listerine, and have a sinus infection. DON'T DO IT.
3. If the door is open for longer than one second, the cat will lunge for said door.
4. If the dog jumps on the bed, she WILL land on your stomach.
5. Cardboard can cut.
6. Snacking on a handfull of chocolate-covered coffee beans is an excellent way to become hyperactive.

So true, Savannah. I would like to add on #4: If the dog jumps on your bed, she WILL land on your stomach.....and WILL take over your bed.....and you wake up with your body dangling half way out of the bed!! :Hahaha:

Boy, I haven't had chocolate covered coffee beans in a loooong time. Got any extra? I've already gone through insomnia recently so now I'd like to give hyper a try, lol.

I sure could use some of the chocolate covered coffee beans right now!!

And yes, cats seem to come from out of nowhere when the door is opened. I'd always check to be sure the coast was clear before I'd even attempt to open the door, but then Padre would come out of nowhere and get out anyways! Kelsey used to shut her in a room before she'd let the dog out at night, lol.

a cat will be sure to walk over to your carpet before throwing up a hairball

a cat will walk right by its scratching post and tear its claws into your new couch

a cat always finds your favorite chair to be the best place to nap

you'll forget your cat has been sleeping in your favorite chair and sit down in it with black pants on...usually right before you leave for work

You are so right on with those!!! I remember chasing Padre around the house everytime she was about to throw up a hairball. We have hardwood floors thoughout the house, but every single time she would run to one of the area rugs to cough the darn hairball up!!

Cassie, out grey tabby cat likes to lay on the end of our bed. Many times I've been awakend to hear her cleaning her "parts" There's nothing like that thick slobbery sound. She just looks at me with one big leg up in the air....like---"What? I need some privacy here please???" God sure did have a sense of humor the day he made cats.

I love the Listerine's one! It's really scaring! :haha:
