Subject: What a Show! Mon May 19, 2008 7:04 am
The Osmonds kicked off the British leg of their 50th Anniversary Tour in Belfast last night. My two friends and I were at the sold out show and what a show it was. Age hasn't made a difference to their performances. If anything I think the crowd were more appreciative than ever. I guess most of us have grown 'old' alongside them and admire them more now for what they've been through and what they can still do. Donny has been here to Northern Ireland several times but it was the first time any of the other members of the family had come. To have the 7 of them on stage at the same time was simply mind-blowing and it's a night I'll treasure for the rest of my life.

Maureen, I would pay just about anything to see this show!!!! I'm so happy for you that you were able to see it...it truly must have been a magical night. Did they sing this one?
I don't know how I missed it, but they actually aired the tour show on PBS in March! ARGH!!! I think I need to order this dvd. Glad you had fun Maureen!

Yes Amy they sang He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother and it was just fantastic. Marie got a bit emotional and thanked us all for loving her brothers and Alan, who suffers from MS got one of the biggest ovations of the night. What a guy!
