Update on prayer request

Michael is still having seizures, and we're still unsure what the cause is. We had a CT scan done yesterday, and bloodwork done today. The techs who did the scan yesterday were awesome with Michael. They were very kind, and explained everything to him..........were very gentle when having to inject the dye into him, and were just plain wonderful with kids. The nurse who drew his blood early this morning, though, had almost NO people skills, and had him in tears. ( mad

) He bounced back quickly once he got home, and his little brother wanted to go tell that nurse to "be a NICE wady!" . Cool

We won't have the results until at least Monday, probably Tuesday. The tech has read the scan, but won't give the doctor the results until then. (I don't know why......and I must admit, patience is NOT one of my strong-suits.)

Several possible reasons for the seizures have been given. Some are extremely serious and frightening. I would really appreciate prayers that this isn't a brain tumor, as that is one possibility that was mentioned. It was "just" one of many possibities mentioned - but you know, that kind of thing tends to stick out among its cohorts.

Savannah, I pray for Michael and your family's well being in this whole thing. As I said before, he is too little to be going thru this. As for the nurse with 'no people skills', I have had that with my own boys and I just wanted to take them out of the room and slap them around a bit. These are scared little people they are dealing with. Theor fears are 100 times greater than any adults fears could ever be.....Hang in there, I know God is listening to our prayers. grouphug

Savannah, know that Michael and your family are in my prayers.
I just hate having to wait for health test results as well... don't worry, before you know it, it will be Monday. I hope things will be okay.

Your family, especially your nephew, has my prayers, Savannah. I hope they can determine the cause of his seizures and that it's something that can easily be cured and cared for. As for the nurse - I have only one word to describe that situation: disgusting. People like that shouldn't be allowed in the medical profession.
