LOL, that's what I was thinking too! It was a much different time back then...I wonder what it would have been like. I mean, I'm sure people back then thought that they were pretty modern (having cars, etc), and now today, we feel the same way...what will the world be like 100 years from now?

It's interesting that cancer wasn't even in the top five causes of death 100 years ago.

I've read it's the food we eat, with all the presertives (sp?) in them, that cause alot of the cancer. I dunno though. You can read about anything you want on the internet.

100 years from now, our lives would seem so boring and slow to our future generations. :sad5: Yawn

The speed that technology is moving forward is amazing. I like to make my own little predictions for the future concerning technology. For instance: How long will it take for almost everyone here in the states to have a web cam? 2 years ago, I didn't even know there was such a thing and now we want one to stay in touch with the grand kids. Will new computers soon be automatically equipped with one?

But concerning technology moving forward.... we also know that there have been civilizations that have been set back or wiped out! Hopefully that won't be us!

Are you scared yet? :haha:
