Ah, it's so nice to "hear" that again. The friend who originally gave me that nickname moved away a couple of years ago, and I don't hear from her very much - so I rarely get called Savannah anymore. And thank you, Marilyn!

I love how you did them facing one another. He really didn't change alot in looks...just got bigger. So sorry to hear she lost him.

Kamberley, I'm sorry I didn't see your reply before now. Thank you! And yep - I believe he was a little boy in the late 80s!

I just finished up a portrait that's for a much happier occasion - a 47th anniversary! The shot was taken in the 60s, when a "soft light" was very popular, so the picture was blurry, which made it very difficult to work from! Thankfully the lady who commissioned it had other photos of the couple, so that helped a lot. Here they are in their engagement shot:

The lady's hair took an eternity to do! Laughing
