Does Anyone else got the Cold? I been kind of sick Since Monday Well I went to curch with Wet Hair I won't do that again Sick2

I had one briefly (thank goodness!). I believe I caught it from work. One of the workers had it, then the boss and his wife came down with it and then I got it.
Luckily, it wasn't too severe.

colds suck,I got my cold from a 2 yr old at church(i was helping in the toddlers room) I hope you feel better..

Hope you feel better Jacob. My mom always told me not to go outside with wet hair to prevent getting sick ever since I was little, I always remember that and never did.

I hope you're all feeling better soon! Several of the people I work with have colds as well and I'm hoping to not catch it...I've been stocking up on orange juice

I'm sorry to hear that Jacob. I hope you are feeling well soon.

Sickness has been going around here, but *knock on wood*, thankfully we are all healthy at our house.

I was worried last weekend about catching the flu. My dad had gotten it last Friday, so I had to spend the night over there to help take care of my mom, who had just gotten home from the hospital that day. Then the next night, my daughters friend had spent the night and my daughter came into my room at 3:30 in the morning saying that her friend had thrown-up. It was some weekend and somehow we managed not to get sick....yet. LOL

I sooo believe in not going outside w/ wet head and/or body, unless it's a hot summer day. My mom always told me about that. So people say it's only a myth, but I've suffered through it few times.

I've got one more antibiotic (ten day supply) to take for my sinus infection. I'm feeling sooo much better. I was sick with the flu during Christmas holiday. It awful trying to shop for Christmas dinner, and then to cook most of it. Sheesh!

Everyone who is sick or just feeling "eh", get better soon!

And I hope everyone else who has been feeling under the weather is feeling better soon too.

Lately, when I go out, I've been trying not to breathe or touch anything, lol. It seems everywhere I go, someone is sick. I'm about to go out and by a mask and some rubble gloves!

I agree with you on trying not to breath or touch anything. I work with kids! Aaaacck! They're always breathing on me and trying to give me goodbye/hello hugs. I love them Love

BTW - I read your typo, where you said "rubble gloves" and it made me laugh. Not that I'm making fun, but because I tried to picture gloves made by Barney Rubble and possibly made of rubble. ROTFL

well...i don't have a cold...but my chest hurts and my throat is scratchy..when i talk i sound like an 80 year old woman who has chain smoked her entire life!

That's so funny, I work with kids too! I always feel like I have to go home and sanitize myself in a Lysol bath after I go home, so many germs are flying around there, lol.

I hadn't noticed my typo. Who knows what was on my mind when I wrote rubble gloves. :haha:

My boyfriend isn't feeling well today - I think he may be coming down with the flu. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't catch it from him, b/c I start training at my new job Monday and don't want to be sick for it!

Turns out he only had a cold. I know, b/c now I have it. I don't know how I'm going to get through this week. I have mid-terms with school, and I start my new job tomorrow, now ontop of being sick. Plus, I'm having issues w/ my mother that really make me wish I never moved back home. I wish I thought of all this before instead of just being motivated by fear to come home. *Sigh*...enough complaining from me for today.

I'm sorry to hear of the other stresses going on as well. I don't know why everything seems to happen all at ones sometimes, but it sure does. All I know is that things do get better and they will for you too. Hang in there!
