I'm sorry to hear that Amy. I hope you all feel better soon.

Here's what I have baking right now:

Amy, we're all sick, too and I am soooo tired of it!
The 3 of us are going to try and make our Thanksgiving meal...
Should be interesting.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that you're dealing with illness in the family, Amy and Holly. It's just that much harder when it's during a holiday. You have my prayers.

Sorry to hear this, Amy & Holly. I hope everyone feels better. Levi, has been sick all week too. Michael had to have 7 stitches in his forehead yesterday. He ran into a door at school. He didn't cry one time while they stitched him up.

Is their a thread for the Thankgiving party?

Ha-ha! Love that cartoon, Susie!
I think THIS is the thread for the party and you're the first to show up?
I don't feel better today but I'm going to pretend like I do.
Do you think that will work?

Sorry you're all not feeling well, Amy and Holly Blue I woke up with a sore throat myself this morning so I'm not feeling as good as I thought I would for today. I think colds are going around.

Hope everyone is enjoying Thanksgiving!

Thanks everyone! Holly, I'm sorry you're all sick too...in our house it's just me right now---I hope I don't give it to anyone else. My dad is doing better now, but my mom is still sick. It just stinks that we can't all be together. But we're making the most of it...my hubby went out and bought all the food and the turkey is in the oven. He got the 'ready made' Bob Evans potatoes and Stove top stuffing, so we'll have the traditional stuff but it just won't be homemade. :sad5: I hope your throat gets better Christina...yep, it's just 'that time of year', isn't it? Sick2

Here's what I missed yesterday....I always make the green bean casserole:

Holly, I had trouble posting pics different times yesterday. I don't know what the deal was. So keep on trying. If you need help let me know---I can re-send the instructions too if that's that problem. Hope you're feeling a little better today. Wink I just woke up at 10:45! I'm late to the party! OhMy

Hey Rob, I actually WAS slaving over that can of cranberry sauce yesterday...it's a bear to get out in one piece! I wanted to slice it, so that's the only way! When I finally did get it out, it almost made me sicker than I already felt! What I do for my hubby.

Do you wanna know my pet peeve about cranberry sauce? I'll tell you my pet peeve about cranberry sauce. I buy Ocean Spray, and you used to be able to open the can at both ends and push the log o' sauce right out. But now the bottom of the can has a ridge around it, and you can't use the opener on it, so you have to just open the top and try to get the sauce out as best you can.

Is that the same problem you had?

I use a knife to loosen it and then pound the bottom of the can. Sometimes it works and other times, well...it's a bloody mess.

It's easy. Save an image to your PC. Then using a free photo site like www.photobucket.com, upload it there. Once it's uploaded there will be a series of 4 codes that you can cut and paste. Choose the IMG one and paste it here. Viola! Picture is here. If I can figure it out, I'm sure anyone can. LOL!

Me too, Rob, me too! No The can is upside down now. I think they did that so all the cranberries stay on top. I use a knife and scrap around the sides and the whole thing will pop out in one piece. But being as anal as I am, when I place the can right side up in my cabinets, I know the sauce inside is upside down. This bothers me!! mad My mom opens the can on both sides for tomato sauce, so no sauce would be wasted when she pushes it out. LOL

I hate Cranberry sauce. Why anyone would want to eat it is beyond me, so I hope you don't feel to bad Rob, that I passed it up. I could tell you put alot of hard work into it.

Saaay, I like that idea. Except I can't paint. Would you mind painting it for me, then selling it and giving me all the money without keeping any of it for yourself, and tell everyone that I'm the one who painted it? Thanks. Whistle
