Do you wanna know my pet peeve about cranberry sauce? I'll tell you my pet peeve about cranberry sauce. I buy Ocean Spray, and you used to be able to open the can at both ends and push the log o' sauce right out. But now the bottom of the can has a ridge around it, and you can't use the opener on it, so you have to just open the top and try to get the sauce out as best you can.

Is that the same problem you had?

Yep, Ocean Spray for me too help ....LOL, I never thought about the knife on the sides idea, Cheryl & Lily! Whistle

Okay, I tried the photobucket route in order to bring along my pilgrim and Indian friends.
(Thanks, Cheryl!)

Cranberry Sauce Removal 101: Whistle

1) Run warm water around the can enough to 'melt' it from the sides. Open can and pour out......OR

2) Wrap can in a kitchen towel, place in microwave for 20 seconds or less, depending on your microwave. Open can and pour out.

I brought some leftovers!

Honestly, I think enjoyed the leftovers for dinner tonight better than thanksgiving dinner yesterday. I still have a cold, but yesterday with a worse sore throat I didn't really feel like eating.

Saaay, I like that idea. Except I can't paint. Would you mind painting it for me, then selling it and giving me all the money without keeping any of it for yourself, and tell everyone that I'm the one who painted it? Thanks. Whistle

And, how do you know that you can't paint? Hmmmmm? batEyes

My lumpy mashed potatoes were a big hit at the cousins' house. I can only make them lumpy, so it's good they were cool with that. LOL!

Hi, Amy! Hope you're feeling better.
I'm a bit better and plan to go out today anyway.
I'm getting restless!

I'm restless too, Holly! You and I are in the same boat! I am so sick of being stuck on the couch, when there is SO much to be done! I am doing better today too and have no choice but to go out as we are out of some essentials around here and the hubby is working today. Glad to hear you're doing a little better too! Thumbsup

Hyde Park, London

Winter Wonderland is London's largest open-air ice rink. Covering 1400m˛ and accommodating 400 skaters at any one time, the rink is created with 130,000 liters of frozen water, weighing 130 tonnes, and kept frozen by 13km of piping...... according to the article grinsmiley

I wish I could be there, it looks so pretty doesn't it?
