They are all over here, and they like biting. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, do you know what they are called?

Susie, they might be noseums, or noseeums, or no-see-ums. I've seen it spelled lots of different ways. And they're very annoying.

I thought I was going to read a tongue twister: Little bitty black bugs bled black blood. :Hahaha:

Hmmm, is that why they're named no-see-um because you can barely see 'um?! :haha:

Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.

They are called "no-see-um" because you NO see them....if you can barely see them, they're called "barely-see-um"....... Whistle

We've got all the bugs talked about here.

I can't stand no-see-ums. They drive my mom crazy!

We have stink bugs, too. They like the garden for some reason!

I think these are what come out every fall here, but ours have an orange shell...and I don't think they stink? So maybe this isn't it, but it sure does look like it! They don't 'do' anything (no biting), but they're desperate to get inside!

I think you may be talking about Boxelder/Box Elder Bugs.

Some of them have more orange on them than that one does.
