Just got back from a used book sale at my local library. I picked up the 9 little house books, and West from Home for only $5! wootwoot A lot of them are old library editions, but they are all in pretty good condition! I couldn't believe I found all of those for such a good price. Now, I need to find time to start reading them all. reader

Little House on the Prairie
Farmer Boy
On the Banks of Plum Creek
By the Shores of Silver Lake

Thanks Rob! It's only the beginning of my collection. Thumbsup

I was going to order the first 9 books online for around $16, but I waited to see what the book sale would have. I thought I might find one or two, but never would have thought I would find all of those. They had more than one copy of some of them. The people around me probably thought I was crazy grabbing every little house book I could find! Laughing

Thanks! I love every book I have read so far... I haven't started the Martha years yet. Right now I am trying to get the last of the Caroline years, but the last four are so expensive compared to the first three!

Thank you, Rob and Savannah! Smiley Hug

I am having a hard time finding some of the books at a reasonable price. I wish they were still printing them. I had to buy Across the Puddingstone Dam from the Loftus store in De Smet because most of the copies of that were going for $80+ on the Internet!

You need to read a biography. Try finding one of the ones in the first post of this thread. My favorite one is LAURA by Donald Zochert but some find it as dry as a textbook. I like it because it has so much info. William Anderson has many great books to choose from. I have met Bill several times. Every time I bring him a book to sign he shakes his head and asks if I don't have enough of his signatures yet.
