You are speaking about Laura's books? I like all nine, like you, but there is something very "hooking" in the first one "Little House in the Big Woods" and in "These Happy Golden years", that puts them among my favs. Of course, I also love to death: "On the Banks of Plum Creek", "The Long Winter" and "Little Town on the Prairie".

Vanesa.

I love them all, but my favorites are Little House in the Big Woods, Little House on the Prairie, and On The Banks of Plum Creek.

Wave
This is my first discussion post!
I go around and around concerning which book is my favorite...
I'd have to choose By The Shores Of Silver Lake!
Why?
I'll post that on the Silver Lake thread.

I think my Fav's would have to be Farmer Boy and The long winter. I've read those two more than any other.

I love The Long Winter, and since it's winter, I should get it out and read it!

Yes. This one is one of the best of the bunch. Its message of hope and faith in the future is very touching. Very good for our hard times.

Vanesa.
