My first Laura and Almanzo video

As a virtual book tour coordinator, we put together video trailers to promote some of our author's books. When I couldn't reach the normal person who does them, I sat down and created one--which wasn't as hard as I thought it would be...though I'm still learning. You did a wonderful job Cheryl, but can I ask something.........Did you have enough close up shots of Dean in there?!?!? You know I'm kidding girlfriend!!!

Aw, you picked some sweet moments Cheryl. Good job! And I like the 'book intro' of the other one too, enough that I might just need to read that! You're right, that's a beautiful picture, I can see why you chose it for your avatar!

I really want to learn how to do that too. Was it very difficult Cheryl?

Thanks everyone. And Rhonda, that isn't even close to all the close up shots of Dean I have. I have screen caps from every single episode Dean was in thanks to my Divas. Luckily I have them organized on my PC in personal folders by episode, but it still took a long time going back and forth between that and Movie Maker to decide which photos from "Back to School" up to "Laura Ingalls Wilder" that I would use.

Coincidentally, I also have close ups of his rear....and the Divas had something to do with that too.

What wonderful videos, Cheryl!! You did a great job of capturing the romance and love between Almanzo and Laura.

Thanks Amy. I tried to show how their relationship evolved with its ups and downs. Considering that I'm a technology dummy, I don't think it's overly hard. What I still haven't managed to perfect is how long the clips play. You'll notice in this first video that some of the photos faded one into the other, but it happened by accident. LOL! I also couldn't manage to get the wedding kiss clips close enough to each other to do the same thing, so it looked choppier than I wanted it to. I know how to extend them to make the clips stay onscreen longer, but I don't do as well in shortening them.
