Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.

thanks everyone! i will definatley be giving lots of details!! We are bringing two cameras!! I will post pictures like crazy!

Beckie they are practicing at the Iceoplex in Southpointe. I don't know if you know where that is. the website tells when they are having practice so we check on there and then we schedule to get out of school for it. batEyes

I really want to meet some of the players, but I am not betting on it. I am just hoping that they all are going to be there. lol. if i meet Sidney Crosby i will be the happiest girl in the world. Cloud 9

Not being an American and not really into ice-hockey, I thought you were going to see PENGUINS, as in animals! Couldn't imagine what they were gonna be practising but the penny dropped...............................eventually! :unsure:

well i went!!! Sidney Crosby was there!!! i made eye contact with him. lol. i didn't get any autographs, but tons of pictures. i will post them as soon as i can. i got to talk to their general manager Ray Shero. all the players were there. they only thing that separated us was the hockey glass! i am so happy. i keep singing and what not. lol

Aww, cool! My niece used to figure skate and when we were kids one day we were able to go to the arena to skate, but the Pens were practicing so we could not get on the ice. Instead we ran wild around the arena, lol. We slid down the banisters on the escilators, lol! A player at the time Jomir Jager(sp?) and announcer Mike Lang walked underneath us in the stands, lol. It was pretty cool.
