My Youngest

Well....my youngest boy, Josh....who graduated back in May...just signed on with the United States Air National Guard.......Not sure when he will leave out for Basic Training, but please pray that this will be a good step for him.....As you know, my middle boy, Jake, graduated Basic Training last August and then Tech School a year ago.....not sure if I am ready for this, but a mom's got to do what a mom's got to do......Mixed emotions going on here...........

Wow! Rhonda, had you figured that Josh would make this step, or did this decision come rather suddenly? I hope you had some time to prepare yourself! I will be praying for him....that's a huge step. Good for him! Thumbsup

Thanks everyone......Yes, Josh has been talking about this ever since Jake went in....but that was all it was.....TALK......After graduation, he was supposed to sign up, but he had a lazy recruiter and got tired of it all.......so he didn't sign up.....He was put in contact with a new recruiter from a friend of his, and decided to just do it. He knows he will have college paid in full for him, and he plans on going to school when he graduates his tech school......

Thanks for keeping them both in your prayers......They are my pride and joy and wouldn't know what to do without them!!

Good for Josh! What a major decision and he definitely made a good one! You should be proud and I know you are!

Well, I must congratulate your sons on their courage and dedication to be a part of such commitment. Thumbsup
