| Many of you may have seen this before, but I haven't and thought I'd post in case someone else hadn't, either.
I've seen the pic of Mary, Laura and Carrie. Someone has it for their avatar, I think. There's one of Laura as an adult, and she's standing near a ravine. The pic is actually kinda spooky, but a little pretty at the same time.
You'll see the pics on the right-hand side. BTW - Is this written by the forum member named Pam?

| Thanks for sharing. I have seen these photos before, but I really want to get my hands on this book so I can review it. Just need some time to read for pleasure.

| Great info. I wish I could read this book someday. I alrady knew all of the pics the website published, but the one in which an old Laura appears holding a first edition of her little house books. That's so sweet... Vanesa. |

| I met this author last July at Laurapalooza. No, she's not our Pam from the forum. here is a picture of her. I don't have this book but it was available at the conference. Maybe I'll get a copy next year when I go again. Pamela Smith Hill |

| I've been trying to find this book somewhere for quite awhile now. I am not going to be going to anything like Laurapalooza this year, but books like this always seem to pop up at the most unexpected historical sites (I am more than likely going to be doing that sort of thing this year again - I am a nerd and I love my historical sites ). In fact, I think I found my plush Laura doll (as the older woman - she is holding a pen and book) at some Mark Twain site. I find things related to Laura at the most random places. Yes, Twain is a writer but the site still isn't associated with LIW. Then again, I am hoping to make it down to Missouri this year for the 150th anniversary of the battle of Wilson's Creek and that isn't too far from Mansfield. Maybe I will try to swing by there before I go home. and maybe they will have this there. |

| Aw, thanks, Vanesa. Can you also convince my kids that my opinions don't stink? Mothers are stupid until their kids reach their mid-20's. |
