Wedding dress!

I wanted to share some exciting news - I picked out my wedding dress today! It ended up being he very first one I tried on, and also the first one I admired on the store's website. I only tried on 4 or 5 dresses total, and I really liked the last one as well, but I ended up going with the first - I liked it better, it was less expensive and it seemed like it was meant to be. The picture doesn't show the pretty detailing on the back and train, and to be honest I wasn't sure how much I liked it when I first saw the picture, but it was another story when I tried it on. I'm very excited (as you could probably tell! LOL).

What a beautiful dress, Christina. Mine was the first one I'd picked ot too. I tried several on but kept going back to the original. Always trust your instinct! I can understand how excited you must be feeling and I can't wait to see your wedding pics! I know you'll look stunning!

Wow, I LOVE that! It almost has a medieval look to it, and even somewhat Edwardian! It's exquistite Christina! I'm so excited for you---you're going to look like a princess!!

LOVE IT! You picked a beautiful dress Christina. If you choose the alternate view on the website you can see a bit of how it looks in the back. I love the straps. I think I tried on at least 12 dresses and mine ended up being $1100; but as you know, if it's the dress, it's the dress.

My wedding is September 5th, Kathy, so we've still got some time to go but I'm really excited! :woohooo: Rhonda, you're right, it was different looking at styles on a website compared to looking in the store, but I think I liked it better that way; I printed out a few styles I liked, then brought them to the store, and they brought me the dresses to try, plus a few others. David's Bridal is having $99 days right now, I guess how it works is that everything gets a percentage off, so I got the dress, veil, headpiece and undergarments for about $800, plus a coupon for my mother to get $20 off her dress, and $20 off for all the bridesmaids too!

the dress is absolutely breathtaking christinaal..congrats on your wedding...mine was the first that i picked out also...it was off the rack and a model from the year before my wedding...
