Thanks, Christina! As far as I know, the book will be on that site for the foreseeable future.

Well, the WEbook people chose which books they want to publish, and mine wasn't among them. Ah well. Thanks to all who voted! Thumbsup

Ok...Rob. Not sure why I am only just NOW reading all of this......But I promise to read what you have posted.
I have also been working on a "book" since last May. Its just one of those prairie tales we love so much. Lol.
Not sure when I will call it done. I have a bad habit of doing too much and getting overwhelmed, so I've been trying to simplify. I've been trying to apply some steps I've learned in photography.(Simplify, go in close to your subject ect.)
I will get back to you as soon as I read it, I know how much that means to those that write.
Hey, Is Fife one of the characters? :cowboy:

Thanks, Gin. And good luck with your book!

Ha! No, Fife didn't make an appearance. Hmm, maybe that would have saved it...

It was exciting to see all of the wonderful feedback that came in for your book! Well, apparently Sonnet Harbor isn't going to be published through WEbook...So, I wonder which publishing house is going to receive that honor? I can't wait to see!

Oh Rob, I'm sorry they didn't pick your book. :sad5: Don't give up...there are other publishers out there and just keep at it!

Aww too bad WEbook didn't pick your book, Rob. No I didn't finish reading your book but I have been reading it bits and pieces here and there. I also prefer in the book form that I can place my book mark between pages when I have to stop reading. It was hard to do that on the screen. lol

What happens now Rob? Do you still leave your book on the site until the publishers come again next round?

I've read the first chapter Rob. Its good. Its amazing a guy could get into the heart of a 12 yr old girl. There is so many things that are unlevel when you are that age. You have done a great job. I will continue to read .........

Thanks, Gin. And thanks, everyone.

Lily, I'm going to leave the book there for the time being. One of the WEbook editors said he wants to read it through - his exact words were "I really think you have something here" - so maybe something good will come of that site after all.

Thanks Rob. It's now down to two choices. One person's work I am familiar with and the other is new to me, but I've seen a couple of shots of her work and liked them. Now, I am waiting on word from the publisher.

Thanks ladies. Your support and good wishes mean a lot.

I'm not sure yet Savannah. I think the book will run around 15 or so pages, plus the cover art.
