My book

Thanks, Christina! As far as I know, the book will be on that site for the foreseeable future.

Well, the WEbook people chose which books they want to publish, and mine wasn't among them. Ah well. Thanks to all who voted!

Ok...Rob. Not sure why I am only just NOW reading all of this......But I promise to read what you have posted.
I have also been working on a "book" since last May. Its just one of those prairie tales we love so much. Lol.
Not sure when I will call it done. I have a bad habit of doing too much and getting overwhelmed, so I've been trying to simplify. I've been trying to apply some steps I've learned in photography.(Simplify, go in close to your subject ect.)
I will get back to you as soon as I read it, I know how much that means to those that write.

It was exciting to see all of the wonderful feedback that came in for your book! Well, apparently Sonnet Harbor isn't going to be published through WEbook...So, I wonder which publishing house is going to receive that honor? I can't wait to see!

Oh Rob, I'm sorry they didn't pick your book. :sad5: Don't give up...there are other publishers out there and just keep at it!

I've read the first chapter Rob. Its good. Its amazing a guy could get into the heart of a 12 yr old girl. There is so many things that are unlevel when you are that age. You have done a great job. I will continue to read .........

Lily, I'm going to leave the book there for the time being. One of the WEbook editors said he wants to read it through - his exact words were "I really think you have something here" - so maybe something good will come of that site after all.

I'm so excited! I'm working with the publisher to select an illustrator to work with to bring Obed's story to life.

Thanks Rob. It's now down to two choices. One person's work I am familiar with and the other is new to me, but I've seen a couple of shots of her work and liked them. Now, I am waiting on word from the publisher.

I'm not sure yet Savannah. I think the book will run around 15 or so pages, plus the cover art.
