PostSubject: The midnight serenade   Tue Apr 07, 2009 8:57 pm

Last night, I was soundly sleeping, when something woke me up. At first I wasn't sure what it was. I thought maybe the wind had picked up again. But then I woke up enough to listen closely, and I heard the sound again. It was my piano being played - in the middle of the night, when everyone was in bed. (And I might add, it was being played very poorly.) So, I got a flashlight and went downstairs to see what was going on. As I walked into the room and flashed the beam of light on my piano, the mysterious, pitiful pianist came into view:

Ah yes......Opie has discovered the joy of music. :Hahaha: He was sitting on the piano bench, with his paws on the keys, and was pressing all over the keyboard! He looked rather like a maniacal little musician! :haha: And tonight when I go to bed, I'm closing the lid over my piano keys!

But if you close the lid, how will Opie ever be able to keep practicing? I would hate to think that you may inhibit some hidden talent Opie may be embarking on. batEyes

Look-out, I think Opie is ready for Youtube! Then you can say, "Here's Opie, before he became a star!"

:haha: That wouldn't surprise me. You know what his favorite thing to do is right now? He loves to sit on someone's shoulder - like a parrot - and ride there while they're walking around. At 20 pounds, he makes quite a parrot! :Hahaha:

I wish my Lucky cat was as much fun as Opie. :Hahaha: Does he have a brother or sister?

Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.

:Hahaha: He has six brothers and sisters. My SIL, Krista has one of his brothers - but he's as quiet and laid back as can be. Krista asked me if I'd trade her: both of her cats for Opie. :haha:
