I know a while back we were all talking about seeing our First Robin well now that i have lots of Robins i have a small Proplem I found a Robins Egg on the Ground in our Back yard do you think the Robin put it there? i did't touch it cause i have heard if you touch it then the Egg won't hatch Please give me some advice what to do the egg is in spot where it won't bother me but the Cats in my Neighbor hood might not leave it alone

Jacob, does it look like there might be a nest nearby that it could have fallen out of?

I don't think that touching the egg would keep it from hatching. If there isn't a nest to put it back in, maybe you could put it in a box with some shredded newspapers and keep in the the house.

I was looking around alreay i could't find a Nest what would happen if i kept it in the House? would it Hatch?

I'm not sure. But it seems like it should be kept someplace warm, just in case the chick inside is still alive.

We have a nature center around my area (I think it's called "Critter Alley") where they do rescues for even the smallest animals. Is there something like that around you Jacob? If nothing else, you could call them and have them advise you on what to do, or maybe they'd even come out to get the egg...
