Terminator: Salvation Empty
PostSubject: Terminator: Salvation   Terminator: Salvation EmptyMon May 25, 2009 2:32 am

We went and saw it Saturday. It was pretty good, though it could have been better. I would have liked to have seen more of the Terminator special effects; kinda like what was in the first three movies.

I thought they did a pretty good job of tying the other movies into this one; especially John looking at the picture of Sarah Connor that was taken at the end of the first; the one the Kyle Reese was in possession with. It was also good to see John listening to the recordings that Sarah had made while she was pregnant with him.

Although it wasn't "actually" Arnold, a good surprise was his cameo (as the terminator) at the end of the movie.

I have a feeling this might not be the last one; I think they would need one more to tie the last of the series in with the first in the series. Kyle Reese was a teen in this one; one more would put him at the age to where he would have been sent back in time to protect Sarah.

Overall a pretty good movie although it ran for two hours. ☮

Good to know, Misti! Wink I really like the Terminator series----my favorite has always been T2. Edward Furlong was so amazing in it---too bad that kid didn't go anywhere, he was a natural.

I'm sure we'll end up going to this at some point....these are the kinds of movies one sees when you're the mom of boys, am I right? Laughing

You got that right, Amy! Seems its action movies or the animated ones!

What is funny is in the same month, two members of the same family had movies come out; last week, "Angels & Demons" directed by Ron Howard.

This last week, "Terminator: Salvation" with Dallas Bryce Howard as Kate Conner.

Next major movie we are going to see? "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." I can't wait!

Yeah, the countdown is on for Tranformers at the moment...at least for the boys, LOL! Someday we're all going to go to a movie that I pick. grinsmiley
