Who could have foreseen this? Little Henry Michael’s arrival, with the baby’s all nines to follow, was born on 09/09/09 at 9:09 PM and weighed in at 9 lbs 9 ozs. Whew, that’s a lot of nines!Chuck Berendes’ wife Polly was scheduled for a C-section at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, September 9th.
Out pops Henry Michael at 9:09 AM. What happened next left everyone, including the Berendes, surprised. Henry weighed in at 9 lbs 9 ozs. I mean really, what are the chances of that happening? Certainly numerologists rejoiced upon hearing this news!A similar occurrence happened in Danbury, Connecticut, when Isabel Casimira entered the world on 09/09/09 at 9:09 AM. Although she did not weigh in at 9 lbs 9 ozs like little baby Berendes, another 9 factors in, as Isabel’s Apgar score was…you guessed it…a 9.Another interesting story comes out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, where little Molly Reid was born to Andy and Alison Miller on 9/9/09. Molly’s sister Campbell was born 8/8/08. I know what you’re thinking…and no, they don’t plan on shooting for a third baby to pop out on 10/10/10.A celebrity baby was even born on 9/9/09 - Nicole Richie gave birth to a son, Sparrow James Midnight Madden. I remember back in 1989, there was a baby born and was nicknamed 1 thru 9: 1:23:45 6-7-89.
