PostSubject: Opie the gardener.   Thu Jun 25, 2009 7:50 pm

Early this morning I transplanted a whole bunch of plants that were growing where I didn't want them to be. Well, this evening when I got home, I put Opie's harness on him, attached his lead, and took him out so he could play outdoors while I did some weeding. (He won't stay in the yard without a lead on, and someone in my neighborhood poisons cats, so I have to be very careful with him.) I had completely forgotten about transplanting the plants til I heard Opie making very loud, almost. . . . chirpy . . . . noises...And he was purring VERY loudly. So I looked up from my weeding to see what he was up to, and saw bits of green flying everywhere in the air above his head. :Hahaha: It looked like he was wildly pulling weeds....but what he was really doing was chewing to bits the catnip that I had just transplanted this morning! He looked like he was very grateful for the snack I had prepared for him. Laughing

yesss Another Opie story!

Sounds like he had a good day in the garden and reaped what you sowed :Hahaha: !

Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.
