An old Italian man lived alone in New Jersey. He wanted to plant his annual tomato garden, but the ground was hard and it was very difficult work. He wrote to his son, Vincent, who was in prison:

"Dear Vincent. I'm feeling very sad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my tomatoes this year. I'm afraid I'm just too old to be digging up the garden. I know if you were here, you'd be happy to help me just like you used to. But I guess it's not to be. Love, Papa."

A few days later he received a letter from his son:

"Dear Papa. I'm glad you won't be digging up the garden. That's where the bodies are buried. Love, Vinnie."

The next morning, a dozen FBI men and local police officers arrived with picks and shovels. They dug up the area, but found nothing. They apologized to the old man and left.

Soon another letter came from his son:

"Dear Papa. Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now. That's the best I could do under the circumstances. Love, Vinnie."

ROTFL Great story!

Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.
