That's cool, Jacob! I noticed some of the leaves turning color at the lake in mid-July! Some of the farmers around here are telling people that it's going to be an "old-fashioned" winter, and to be prepared. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

It certainly felt like fall here the last couple of days, in the 60's! They say though that we're supposed to be in for a hot fall...we kind of skipped June heat completely, and then July and August have had abnormally lower temperatures. So I guess part of our 'summer' will be in September, possibly October, and I really don't think I'm happy about that! I love fall, and when September comes around, I'm ready for it!

Well, its not here! We still have high's in the 90's and lows in the low 70's. Our trees are changing colors, but its because of drought. We've lost SO many pine this year. We've been just now getting rain, but I'm afraid its too late for some gardens and trees.
Can I move in with one of you for the fall and winter??? This heat is getting SO old!

It's been absolutely gorgeous here......they say we are heading for an early fall....and I am ready......If we have a 'hot' fall, I guess we'll just call it our 'above normal Indian Summer.' It shouldn't be too bad tho, considering, we won't have the humidity mixed in with it.....I was born and raised in California, and I can handle a dry heat.......
