Go Twins!!!!

Okay, it's down to one last game. This Tuesday all we have to do is beat the Tigers on our home field. Then we're in the play-offs! I'm sure that I've just sparked a bit of rivalry from certain members on the board from Michigan. I won't mention any names...........................

Why couldn't you guys have just let the White Sox beat you this afternoon? LOL!

Ahhh, it should've never come to this! We had a three-game lead on you guys just four days ago, and we blew it.

I didn't figure we'd lose today, with Justin Verlander pitching. And he came through big time. Who's pitching for the Twins on Tuesday, Teresa? Rick Porcello is going for us. He's got a record of 14-9... but he's only 20 years old! One of the youngest kids in the majors. This is a lot of pressure to put on his shoulders!

My husband said that Baker is pitching for us. He said you've got no chance. LOL!!

Well, stat-wise, Baker and Porcello are almost identical. Baker has a record of 15-9, and an ERA of 4.36. Porcello is 14-9, and 4.04. One less win, but a better ERA.

It should be a good game. Pity the Twins' last game in the 'Dome is going to be a loss.

For real Rob...this should NOT have happened!! Just crazy!! And it IS a ton of pressure on a 20 year old...reminds me a lot of John Smoltz in his hay day.

Ohhh... Tigers have runners at first and third with nobody out to start the 9th. Polanco strikes out, and Cabrera lines into a double play!

Twins are happy campers! I really like both these teams.

Twins start off the bottom of the 9th with a walk. In comes the Tigers' premiere closer, Fernando Rodney. He's only blown one save all season.
