| Tim found out about the loss of someone very special to him yesterday. He is friends with the whole family really and has known them forever. There are 5 boys in the family and one daughter. Tim has played music with a few of the sons and dated the daughter. Tim found out just last week that their father had colon cancer and was in the hospital recovering from surgery. Tim called him Pops too, and I've always only known him as Pops. Pops came home from the hospital last Thursday and by Sunday was having severe complications and had to be readmitted to the hospital on Sunday. Monday, Pops passed away. Of course the whole family is in shock and they are having a very difficult time. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Pops was one of the nicest people I ever met. He had a gentle kindness about him and he was an amazing saxophone player. Tim was fortunate enough to have been able to play with him while he was in a band with one of Pops sons. He will be greatly missed. | |

| I'm sorry to hear this, Pam. My thoughts and prayers are with Pops family, and You and your family.  He doesn't always answer in the way that we want, but in a way He thinks is best for each of us. | |

| I'll be praying for Pops family and Tim for losing a good friend. Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow. | |
