There goes the last soap opera I watch! The last airdate is set for next September. If course they say they are looking for another venue for it but as with GL, I doubt that will happen.

Not sure how I missed your post Misti....WOW. This is believeable! My mom is going to be so bummed out. I wonder why it's only the CBS soaps getting hit?! I'm sorry you're losing your other favorite soap Misti! No

Yeah! That's really werid that they are geting rid of all the soap shows! I honestly don't think any of the new soap shows will last has long has the old ones has..

I never really got into soaps but I find that odd too that they are getting rid of these shows. They were around on radio before TV, lol. I guess everyone is tired of doing them now.

Yeah, I've been watching both shows since the 80's...that's why they are near and dear to my heart. That will be the end of my watching of daytime shows. That was the last one I watched.

I heard this about three weeks ago. I watched ATWT for 26 years. I stopped last year when some of the writers were drifting away from some of important family values. Plus it just wasn't the same after Lily and Gwen left.
I really feel once they loose the morals of family life, you don't need to continue with programming. Just my thoughts.
There is such a mix of ages that watch, they needed to be more aware of that.

Who knows though...we may start seeing these on dvd too one day soon!!!!
