Subject: One more urgent request: David & his job Fri Mar 26, 2010 12:44 am
It seems to be when it rains it pours! I can't go into a lot of detail but there was an incident that happened at work that even though David had nothing to do with it, he has gotten drug into it & they are trying to blame him for some of it. It has gotten to where there is an 'investigation' going on and in the meantime David has been demoted from his head of transportation back down to bus driver at least for the rest of the school year (May). After that they will decide what exactly they are going to do.
If he is permanently demoted that will mean a cut in his pay, which we can't really afford.
I am just so totally mad and frustrated because the people up at school know David and how hard he worked in his position and its kinda like the song, 'Find Out Who Your Friends Are' when those that you thought were your friends and stand up for you are nowhere around. I know David did nothing wrong and I would argue that point until my last day on earth. It makes me want to go and knock some heads together. And he can tell the truth until he's blue in the face but its like it falls on deaf ears; they believe everyone else instead of David. A stranger could walk in off the street & they would believe them over David. It is just so mad & frustrating!
Anyway; please, please pray for him that the investigation will reveal he did nothing wrong and he will be vindicated; with his rightful place as head of transportation once again.

How awful. You know, this is why I don't have a lot of friends around here. Everytime I think I've found someone I can trust, they end up tossing me under the bus (sorry for the bad reference here). I'm sorry this has happened to David. I'll definitley be praying that he is vindicated and is returned to his position and full pay.

Misti, I'm praying for this situation too. You really have to wonder where people's heads (and hearts!) are at, to blame someone who did nothing wrong. Injustices like this are so hard to stomach - even not knowing the people David works with, it makes me want to knock their heads together! Can't imagine how frustrating it is for you! You're in my prayers as well. Let us know how things work out.
