I'm thinking that Gin is in the running for receiving the most "Fife's," with Misti probably coming in at a close 2nd. LOL!

Now, if anyone ever gets out of hand on the forum, Savannah will come after you with her "pan." That's her little smilie emoticon of someone getting hit over the head with a pan. Rob has gotten the pan more times than anyone, and definitely more times than Gin has gotten Fifed. Hopefully that makes you feel better, Gin. LOL!

Welcome Carolyn!! Any friend of Larry's is a friend of ours! *He paid me to say that*

Oh yes, Rob is the Fifenator here. I've been his victim many times! He makes me so nervous that I still mispell even after using spellcheck! Ranting

Carolyn! It's great to see you made it. And thanks for pumping my ego. Laughing

You'll really like it here. You know through your hubby the sites I've frequented before, but this is the place where my forum travels started. Actually, I guess it was the other lhop site? Rhonda would know. At any rate, this is the forum I call home, so welcome home. Smile

You won't find a bad word said, and ppl are really interested in what you have to say. And if there's any minute detail of lhop you wanna know, books or the series, they know it.

Enjoy yourself. But watch out for Savannah. She's a rebellious troublemaker.

Thanks, Gin. I've done so.

Carolyn, we have two very gifted artists on the board, Gin and Savannah. If you want to see some of their work, look on the first page of the Town Gossip section. Gin's are in the "Gin's Drawing" thread, and Savannah's are in "A few drawings." They're both amazing!

Thanks for your warm welcomes!

I haven't come across Rob yet, will keep an eye out for him, unless he finds me first! Larry mentioned there were a few blokes, but it was mainly female...I think he likes to be outnumbered.

Your warning has been noted Gin! So far following him has led me here, which is good, but I might check in with everyone first next time he suggests something!!

Teresa, I live in an outer eastern suburb of Melbourne, in Victoria. They say here that if you don't like the weather just wait 5 minutes....

Thanks for your welcome Misti, love the emoticons you added, made me smile! Off to check out Larry's status now.

Aww, you know we love you, Rob! Smiley Hug If you hadn't already guessed, we have a lot of run around here. I think you are going to fit in really well!

Carolyn, you don't happen to be a fan of the Survivor reality show, do you? Quite a few of us are hooked on it and there is a thread in the tv section.

BAM! Come on I'll help you up Misti. Smiley Hug Fife is a little guy, but he truly is harmless.

No, I never misspell a word just to test Fife. I did not know I couldn't spell til I came to this site, but am glad that I am now aware of it. I have a dictionary that sits beside my computer, but it doesn't have all the words I come up with....not sure why. No
SO, that is where Fife comes in, he is so helpful. greenS
In all regards, Fife is just a puppet that Rob makes sure does his job. Fife would be nothing without Rob.

SO, If I am lucky Fife will always have me covered, and I will be blessed another day.

loveheart Hithead

Thanks Rob, for the commercial on my drawings. You are a sweetheart.

Carolyn, I am a photographer first and by accident just a year ago started doing pencil portraits. SO, this is allowing me to make a bit more money beside my photo shoots. God is blessing me greatly! Applause

I'm on Facebook as well...Ginger Alexander

I 've seen the pan!! Will try to avoid it, Savannah...and am wondering how long it will take before I'm Fifed by the Fife-inator (I looked it up before I wrote it down) Wink

Thank you for your welcome Carol...Larry mentioned you to me (in a good way!)

Hi Lily! Just between you and me, Larry paid me too.... laugh3

I haven't watched Survivor for a few years now, I work in the evenings unfortunately. I got hooked on Lost, (the fictional Survivor!) so I just buy the DVD set each season and then watch several episodes in a row.

Is the latest Survivor a good one?

Hi Coach Jon and pamh36! Nice to meet you too...

Gin, I don't have a dictionary handy at my desk, so I'm using Google instead....I nearly posted something before but noticed I hadn't closed a bracket.....aargh! I can see how Fife is helpful...he's keeping me on my toes!
Was away from my computer all day today and have a lot of catching up to do...I'll be having a peek at your drawings, and seeing what Savannah has done too.

Misti, thanks for sacrificing yourself ( Noo ) to show me an example of Fifing (is that the way to spell it Rob?)

I think your safe Carolyn..... Do catch Savannah's drawings too. She is great!
She's been at this alot longer than I have.

Don't worry to much about Fife. He does carry a gun, but its loaded with Hershey Kisses. He puts on a big front, without to hard a bite. (I'll get in trouble for that one....but I know where to hide!) LOL

I'm halfway through Savannah's post....stunning stuff!
I loved your drawings Gin! Another favourite was the one of your two boys, so much attention to detail, do you have it displayed anywhere?

And yep, I think I'm starting to obsess about Fife, spelling and punctuation. Have you just blown Rob's tough cover?!? laugh3

Thanks! But I must have totally misunderstood you. I thought you told me that you've been drawing your whole life. I didn't realize that you've only been drawing for a year! Your work is lovely. And I'm really still a newbie, too. It's coming up on my second anniversary of discovering drawing. May 3, I do believe.

Carolyn, I don't think this picture is in that thread of Savannah's. Last November, I lost my beloved golden retriever, Casey. Savannah drew this, and sent it to me as a Christmas gift. It's framed on my wall, and I'll treasure it forever.

Savannah, I might have told you I always loved to sketch, but never could make it look very realistic til a year ago when I started looking through some books on the Colored Pencil Portriats. I am still learning.....
