Just say no to drugs?

Traverse City, MI - A local woman is behind bars, accused of trying to rob the pharmacy at the Munson Community Health Center.

The pharmacist at the Urgent Care Center told police a woman walked into the pharmacy around 7:00 a.m. Saturday, said she had a gun in her purse and demanded Oxycontin.

The pharmacist refused to hand over the drugs. "Ah, no," he said, and the woman fled.

Traverse City Police arrested a 31-year-old suspect Monday morning. Investigators say she confessed to the crime.

Guess the pharmacist was lucky she didn't shoot him. I say lets make everyone that has drug problem live on the prairie for awhile. That would either clean them up of we would have everyone chewing on all kinds of weeds. scratchead

How sad that this woman is THAT desperate. She probably doesn't know about the oxycontin express that will take her to Florida and sadly she won't need a gun there to get what she wants...

Yeah, I'm surprised the pharmacist was willing to risk his life over that. scratchead
