Sadly, in Argentina we have skunks, and they are pretty smelly. Of course, not skunks in B.A, for it is a big city, but certainly people have these in the countryside . Yikes

Poor Amy! I imagine that if you have dogs and they catch skunk smell it must be just awful! The poor doggies must be spreading skunk smell everywhere. What a great thing you now have a way to wash this smell out of them. affraid

Vanesa.

Fun part, was spending at the hotel for days. We had free breakfast, went swimming, went shopping & had fun.

Nice that there was a little bright side! Well, I suppose the bright side for me was that I have two very squeaky clean dogs now!

Luckily, we are doing VERY well over here. Last year, our beagle Jenna ran ALL over the house---she knew we were freaking out (we let her in before realized she got it) and she ran from us. So that stench was in our house for what seemed like forever. This time, the only thing that smells bad is our garage. Hope that dissipates soon!

Sorry to hear about the skunk again. At least this time you were prepared with the Nature's Miracle.

Well, it's not over. Chelsey still smells fine, but now that the 'perfumey' dog shampoo scent has worn off, Jenna is still smell skunky, especially around her face. Back in the tub she goes, for another baking soda bath!! Yikes

What a month. In the last month, the dogs have been skunked, my husband had poison ivy, and now the dogs have fleas. thud They have NEVER had fleas!! I'm usually good about giving them a preventative, but for the past few years I've been cheaping out, since things have been tight. Well, never again. Last week, my hubby had to go to urgent care, and we're still waiting for the bill on that one. Now our vet bill yesterday was $150. Yikes ARGH!!! BRING ON WINTER!!!! help

Aaaaghhh!!! fleas! What a nightmare! When I had two dogs and tw cats living together under our same roof, there were no summer without fleas and it was quite awful for us. We all had rushes over the skin and you could even see the fleas jumping happily on our beds ! Yikes Noo Poor Amy! Hope your dogs could get rid of those awful fleas...

Vanesa.

Thanks Vanesa. Smile Yes...they're being treated with "Advantix" now.....any fleas that jump on the dogs now will be killed within an hour or so. They'll need to be treated though each month for the next two or three months. Ugh. Yikes I have learned my lesson! From now on they'll be on a prevantive! (Gee, with there was such a thing as a 'skunk preventative'! HeeHee
